Impact of Health Policy 

What is the impact of health policy on resourcing (i.e., funding, technology, capital assets, and other key, nonhuman means of healthcare delivery)?  The EHR has been cited as a means of promoting the accuracy and timeliness of medical information, which has the ultimate aim of improving the quality of healthcare.

For the class, is there evidence that this, in fact, has been the case?  What is the rationale for the growth of this industry? Is profitable? Is it competitive?  What are the risks associated with telemedicine that are not associated with in-person medical care?
