The Fixed Wireless Local Loop (WLL) is another interesting way to deliver “wired” services wirelessly.  In many undeveloped countries they skip the wired telecommunications infrastructure and go directly to wireless.  They’ll often use the capabilities associated with WLL and use that to spin up services in remote areas.
